According to various reports, some talent may be on WWE’s radar. This could lead to some significant roster changes for both promotions.

WWE Reportedly Interested In AEW Talent

According to reports from BodySlam.net, there is major WWE interest in Danhausen and the tag team Private Party. Danhausen’s contract is believed to be up in July, while Private Party’s deals are also said to be expiring soon.

The reports note that WWE has an appetite for TV-ready talent. This makes established acts like Danhausen and Private Party attractive acquisitions.

Other Key AEW Contracts Expiring

Other significant deals are also coming to an end in 2025. Chris Jericho’s contract is reportedly set to expire at the end of the year.

Renee Paquette, who holds both a talent and producer contract, has a deal that is also up in the fall. The contracts for Matt Menard and Angelo Parker of 2.0 reportedly run out in August.

Amid these potential changes, one star who is not going anywhere is Jon Moxley. Despite internet speculation, his contract is locked in with AEW through 2027.

The high-flying tag team of Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen, known as Private Party, burst into AEW on the first-ever episode of Dynamite in 2019. They scored a massive upset victory over The Young Bucks, immediately establishing themselves as top contenders in the new promotion’s tag team division.

While they have yet to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championship, they have been a consistent part of the roster. They had a notable run as members of the Andrade-Hardy Family Office, managed by Matt Hardy, which eventually led to a feud with their mentor. Known for their athletic and innovative style, Private Party remains a team with high potential, though their contracts are reportedly set to expire soon.

Danhausen is one of modern wrestling’s most unique characters. With his “very nice, very evil” persona, painted face, and third-person speech, he became a viral sensation and merchandise-moving machine on the independent circuit before signing with AEW in 2022.

Upon his debut, he quickly aligned himself with the Best Friends faction, becoming an honorary member and forming a popular comedic duo with Orange Cassidy. While his in-ring time has been limited by serious injuries, including a torn pectoral muscle, he has remained a beloved cult figure among fans. His “cursed” but charismatic presence has made him a standout character, though his AEW contract is reportedly expiring in July 2025.
