Kim Kardashian and Larsa Pippen were close friends until they had a falling out in 2020.
Kardashian and Pippen formed a friendship in 2010. The pair were super close as Pippen appeared on multiple episodes of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian‘s reality show Kourtney & Kim Take Miami. The women were also by each other’s side for milestone moments including Kim’s marriages to Kris Humphries and Kanye West as well as Larsa’s ups and downs with ex-husband Scottie Pippen.
However, things took a turn for the worst in July 2020 when eagle eyed social media users noticed Kim and other members of the Kardashian family were no longer following Larsa on Instagram. Larsa subtly addressed the drama online.
“I Woke up this morning blessed and see that everybody is focused on who I am following and who I am not following on social media,” she wrote via X at the time. “I am focused on my children, my new fitness brand Larsapippenfitness, and my relationships in real life.”
In an additional post the Real Housewives of Miami star tweeted, “Praying that everybody finds peace in their own lives and focus on what brings THEM happiness.”
Nearly six years later, Kim broke her silence on where she stands with Larsa.
“I love Larsa [and] I love her kids,” Kim said to sister Khloé Kardashian on a January 2026 episode of her “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast. “I think that was a transition when, I think, she was going through a divorce and Kanye [West] and I were having some issues.”

Rumors Swirl About Kim Kardashian and Larsa Pippen’s Falling Out
In July 2020, rumors swirled that Kim Kardashian and Larsa Pippen had a falling out after the Skims founder was no longer following the Bravo personality.
“Kim started actually unfollowing Larsa [at the] end of last year but did so very quietly,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “She unfollowed everyone altogether bringing her followers to zero because there were a lot of random accounts and she wanted to reset it just to her family and childhood friends.”
Larsa later claimed that her friendship with Kim was impacted by the Kardashians star’s then-marriage to Kanye West.
“If Kanye feels like him and Kim are better without me, then let them be without me,” Larsa alleged on a 2020 episode of the “Hollywood Raw” podcast. “I’m OK with that. … I will survive.”
Larsa Pippen Shares Update on Friendship With Kim Kardashian
Two years later, Larsa Pippen revealed that she and Kim Kardashian had spoken since their falling out.
“I feel like we’re in a really good place. You know, I feel like there was a lot [of] miscommunication at the time,” she exclusively told Us in January 2022. “We’ve all apologized to each other. We’re in a really good place.”
Larsa continued, “People have disagreements with their friends all the time, but because of who we are, it’s just so magnified. In reality, it’s like, you know, maybe I could have navigated it different [sic]. Someone else could have navigated [it] different. … We’re all living our best lives. We’re all focusing on our families. We’re happy for each other.”
Are Kim Kardashian and Larsa Pippen Still Friends in 2026?
Years after their drama, Kim Kardashian addressed what happened between her and Larsa Pippen.
“It just, kind of, distanced ourselves and she moved to Miami, but I love her. Our kids go to school together,” Kim said on a January 2026 episode of sister Khloé Kardashian’s “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast. We’ll always have so many memories and so much love there.”
