These burger slingers flipped out.
A beef at a Georgia Burger King sparked a massive brawl that sent dozens of cops to the fast food joint and landed five employees behind bars — some still wearing their work duds in their mugshots.
Things began to heat up at the Augusta eatery when two employees showed up late for work on Thursday — with tensions soon boiling over, the August Press said in a report this week.
That’s when the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office got a call of shots fired at the scene.
“Multiple units and EMS are on scene at Burger King, 3407 Deans Bridge Road for a large fight involving employees where it was reported that a gun had been used and shots were fired,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post after the wild incident.
“Although no shots were fired multiple employees were fighting upon deputies arrival,” the department said. “One employee did have a gun that he was pointing at another person. All are being arrested and will all be transported to the Charles B Webster detention center. Charges to follow.”
According to the Augusta Press, the combatants were still swinging away and one was pointing a gun when sheriff’s deputes showed up and swarmed the eatery.
No one owned up to the gun — and the restaurant’s security camera didn’t capture that part of the scuffle — so no gun charges were filed, the outlet said.
Instead, disorderly conduct charges were lodged against the rowdy employees, identified as Malcolm Collier, 19, Devin Lewis, 17, Octavione Collier, 19, Kailah Davis, 18, and Anaja Kelly, 20.
All five were fired, the burger chain said in a statement to People magazine.
“This is unacceptable and not the kind of guest experience that team members are trained to offer, so our franchisee moved quickly to terminate the employment of those involved,” it said.
One day after the brawl, the restaurant had a “Now Hiring” posted in the window.
