A parenting influencer’s 2-year-old daughter drowned in his swimming pool on Father’s Day.

“I lost my daughter,” Jamal Morton, 33, told his 2.6 million followers on Instagram in a heartbreaking tribute to Rose, whom he called “the best daughter a father could ever ask for.”

“She thought she was a big girl and could swim all by herself. She walked out of the house and got into the pool where she drowned,” he said in an online fundraiser over the death of the youngest of his nine children.

“Losing a child is a pain I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy,” he said in the heartbreaking post where he shared a montage of snaps from her birthday celebrations in April.

“ I hate to make this post but yall won’t be seeing me for a while. I have to take a break. I lost my daughter.

“I hope heaven is real because i can’t imagine you being all alone by yourself. So God if you’re real please watch over my baby. Rest in peace my sweet angel. Daddy loves you forever Rose.”

In the snaps, Rose was clutching a pink balloon of the number “2” while beaming next to her Peppa Pig-themed bounce house.

Morton, known for his comedy parenting skits and his “Gentle Parenting” series, often filmed content near his Hoschton home’s pool and one video from April last year captured Rose’s first steps.

In the now-tragic clip, he was seen encouraging his daughter to walk towards him.

“Look who’s walkin,” the proud dad said at the time.

Rose was Morton and his wife Jessica’s youngest child, and he announced her birth in April 2024.

The content creator has since revealed he’s had to leave his home in light of the tragedy.

“We have to move away because we can’t live in that house anymore, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to work anytime soon,” he told his fans.

The authorities do not appear to have commented.
