A pedestrian and e-scooter rider were hit by cars within minutes of each other in the centre of Brisbane on Friday night.
Just after 11pm, a teenage girl was struck on Ann Street in the CBD. She was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital with an arm injury.
Then at 11.25pm, just over a kilometre away, paramedics were called to the intersection of Berwick and Brunswick streets in Fortitude Valley, where an e-scooter rider had suffered similar injuries to his arm and shoulder after colliding with a vehicle.
