Teresa Giudice is clapping back at critics questioning her reconciliation with Joe Gorga and his wife, Melissa Gorga.
“Ask my brother, I’m the type that holds grudges. I’m very old school,” Teresa exclusively shared with Us Weekly while attending BravoCon 2025 on Saturday, November 15. “For me to do this, it’s real. He said he was waiting for me because he knew how upset I was about things.”
When asked to address speculation that the newfound relationship is for the cameras only or not genuine — especially amid The Real Housewives of New Jersey series’ indefinite hiatus — Teresa explained that she is trying not to pay attention to any negative noise.
“People who say that have a mean heart. I’m just saying, a mean soul,” she said at the three-day conference in Las Vegas. “Everybody should want family to be together. I want to show America what a real Italian family looks like. My ex’s family? They are all together, united. That’s what I always wanted. I want to show America that we could be united, and I want to show our children that too. It’s really important.”
On Friday, November 14, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs reacted to Teresa making peace with Joe and Melissa.
“I want it to be genuine, for the sake of Melissa and Joe. I know it’s genuine on their part,” Margaret told Us at BravoCon. “I think things like this have to be done in a therapeutic setting and behind closed doors and not to be played out in the press.”
Although Bravo has yet to confirm any plans for The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 15, Teresa said she doesn’t care what happens in terms of casting.
“If they pick me, or they pick my brother, I’ll be so happy for them,” she said. “It is what it is. Whatever God wants. When one door closes, another one opens.”
One family member thrilled at the reconciliation is Teresa’s oldest daughter, Gia Giudice. (Teresa also shares Gabrielle, Milania and Audriana with ex-husband Joe Giudice.)
“It’s like a weight lifted off of my chest. I’ve always wanted this since I was little,” Gia told Us on Friday while supporting her own reality series, Next Gen NYC. “Singing songs or pulling family members back. I’ve always wanted this, and I’m just so happy that we’re coming to this place. It makes me really happy, and I’m happy we could be here at BravoCon and not worry about running into each other or looking over our shoulder.”
The thought of getting close again to her uncle Joe also leaves Gia excited for the future.
“He was my best friend,” she explained. “I think it’s a relationship that we’re both excited to rebuild and work on.”
Over the weekend, both Melissa and Teresa posted family photos in Sin City.
“Don’t question it — Just support it,” Melissa wrote via Instagram on Saturday, highlighting the long-awaited family reunion. “#family.”
Moving forward, Teresa wants to continue moving forward as she prepares to celebrate the holidays with more peace and love instead of drama and hate.
“I’m the oldest, and my brother says I’m the matriarch of the family, and he wants me to lead the ship,” she said. “I have no problem leading the ship, but I’m very old school, and I’m about loyalty, respect and peace. If he gives me that, I’ll give that to him 10 folds over.”
