An online marketplace exchange ended in violence on Sunday afternoon, leaving a teenage boy and a man in his 20s with critical injuries in hospital.
Police said three males met outside a house on Cobham Street in St Albans as part of a marketplace deal at about 1.20pm before a violent argument broke out.
A 17-year-old and a man in his 20s were both taken to hospital with critical injuries from being stabbed, while a 23-year-old man was also hospitalised with serious stabbing injuries.
Brimbank crime investigation unit detectives said they were not looking for anyone else in relation to the violence and no arrests had yet been made.
