Two men have been hospitalised with multiple gunshot wounds after a brawl in south-west Sydney ended in gunfire.
Emergency services were called to Boundary Road, Chester Hill about 10.30pm on Thursday to reports of a brawl involving about 15 people.
But the group left the scene before police arrived, the fight ending after two men were shot.
Police spotted a black Ford sedan allegedly driving dangerously along nearby Ferndell Street shortly after, pursuing the vehicle when it failed to pull over as directed, before it stopped at Guildford.
Two men, aged 24 and 27, were found in the car suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
NSW Ambulance treated the men at the scene before they were taken to hospital.
A third man, who was driving the car, was spoken to by police but later allowed to leave.
No charges have been laid.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing, but information is limited as the two men, who are known to police, are still undergoing treatment in hospital, a NSW Police spokesman said.
