Vanderpump Rules alum James Kennedy and his new girlfriend, Jordan Meyers, are expecting their first baby.
“We are thrilled to share that Jordan and I are expecting our first child together,” Kennedy, 34, told People in a Thursday, June 11, statement. “We have previously kept our relationship out of the public eye, and this is the first time we’re sharing it publicly. We wanted to keep things personal while we were building our relationship together, and we’ve shared this news privately with close friends and family for some time now.”
Meyers, 23, told the outlet that she is four months along and has been dating Kennedy for eight months.
“The second I met James, we instantly felt such a strong spark between us,” she gushed. “We initially connected on Instagram and then met in person at one of his shows. I’m from North Carolina, so I went to visit James for what was supposed to be ‘three days,’ which has now turned into eight months together. Watching our love grow and preparing to become parents together has been the most incredible experience.”
Kennedy had not previously revealed his relationship ahead of the pregnancy announcement. He last dated Ally Lewber from 2022 to 2024, calling it quits after he was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence. (Kennedy denied the claims and did not face criminal charges.)
“I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth and being present for my loved ones,” Kennedy wrote via Instagram in December 2024, addressing the alleged incident. “Navigating challenging moments is not easy but I am determined to learn, grow and move forward with the incredible support system around me.”
Before his relationship with Lewber, Kennedy dated Rachel “Raquel” Leviss from 2016 to 2021 when they called off their engagement.
“After these 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we have two different goals and made the decision to call off the engagement,” Kennedy and Leviss wrote in a joint statement via Instagram in December 2021. “We love each other very much, but we aren’t in love anymore. We want nothing but the best for each other so please keep any thoughts positive. Sending Love.”
Kennedy’s relationships with both Leviss and Lewber were chronicled on Vanderpump Rules. He left the show ahead of season 12, when Bravo recast the series with a new group of SURvers.
“James was at home, and he got a call from the producers saying it was a great run, but time’s up basically,” Lewber exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2024, revealing Kennedy’s reaction to the shakeup. “It was much nicer than that. I wasn’t there so I didn’t get to see him, but I would call and check in and he’d be like, ‘I’m fine.’”
She added at the time, “He was just going to the gym and doing his thing, but I could just tell he was a little low. But I think he was reflecting. I think he was just like, ‘Wow, that was crazy.’ It was just an insane part of his life and such an important part of his life. I think he’s so proud — I know he’s so proud — of where he’s at now compared to where he started the show.”
Kennedy has since taken a step back from reality TV and remained focused on his DJ career.
“MASSIVE VIBES, yall were not messing around!👏,” he wrote via Instagram in March, referring to his concert in New Jersey.
