A woman has died after a reversing vehicle knocked her to the ground in south-west of Brisbane.
The 81-year-old woman was by Simmons Road in North Ipswich when the SUV reversed into her and knocked her down about 10.35pm on Thursday.
She suffered serious head injuries and died at the scene.
The 84-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Nissan X-Trail was not physically hurt and was assisting police with their inquiry.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who had dashcam vision was asked to contact police.
